My Story
My motto: real food cooked with love. My goal is build a brand that’s built on integrity and hella great food, while using this skill to help young men and women develop healthy skills to maneuver in life.
During my collegiate days at Texas Southern University, I developed a deep love for southern cuisine. I've traveled all over the rural South and over the years, I've created my own interpretation of some of the best dishes the South has to offer. I’m self-taught, and credit my father who showed me the importance of cooking with love.
I started cooking as a form of therapy. Some years back, while attending the West Oakland Church of Christ, I was blessed with the task of helping a fellow sister with the Senior Saint’s Food Ministry. I cannot help but to see a spiritual connection with food and people. My motto: food that warms the soul. When someone cooks for you, it is more than a meal being prepared; It’s attention to detail that tells the person I know you and this will make you smile. My goal on the business side is to franchise this company across West Coast and some Southern areas. On the philanthropic side, is to use this talent to help young men and women develop healthy skills to maneuver in life. Applying ministry with cooking.
